International Master of Bioacoustics (MoBi)
2025 Schedule*
The Master of Bioacoustics (M2 level, 60 ECTS) comprises 10 one-week taught modules (3 ECTS each) + an empirical project (6 ECTS) + a six-months internship (24 ECTS).
Week 1 (15th Sep): Welcome week (retreat): Bioacoustics in the field.
Week 2 (22nd Sep.): Comparative bioacoustics I: Birds and Reptiles.
Week 3 (29th Sep.): Eco-acoustics 1 (3 ECTS).
Week 4 (6th Oct.): Comparative bioacoustics II: Marine Mammals + ENES 20th anniversary.
Week 5 (13th Oct.): Welfare & Laboratory (rodents) Bioacoustics.
Week 6 (20th Oct): Comparative bioacoustics III: Terrestrial Mammals.
Week 7 (27th Oct.): Break (Vacances scolaires et Universitaires).
Week 8 (3rd Nov.): Eco-acoustics 2
Week 9 (10th Nov.): Underwater bioacoustics (Tuesday bank holiday)
Week 10 (17th Nov.): Temporal structures and Rhythm – Insect and amphibian bioacoustics.
Week 11 (24th Nov.): Human Vocal Communication.
Week 12 (1st Dec.): Empirical project finalisation & technological fair
Week 13 (8th Dec.): Free week.
Week 14 (15th Dec.): Empirical project oral presentations + closing talk (Monday + Tuesday only).
