International Master of Bioacoustics (MoBi)
2026 Provisional Schedule*
The Master of Bioacoustics (M2 level, 60 ECTS) comprises 10 one-week taught modules (3 ECTS each) + an empirical project (6 ECTS) + a six-months internship (24 ECTS).
Week 1 (14th Sep): Welcome week (retreat): Bioacoustics in the field.
Week 2 (21st Sep.): Comparative bioacoustics I: Birds and Reptiles.
Week 3 (28th Sep.): Comparative bioacoustics II: Marine Mammals.
Week 4 (5th Oct.): Eco-acoustics 1.
Week 5 (12th Oct.): Comparative bioacoustics III: Terrestrial Mammals.
Week 6 (19th Oct): Eco-acoustics 2
Week 7 (26th Oct.): Break (Vacances scolaires et Universitaires).
Week 8 (3rd Nov.): Welfare & Laboratory (rodents) Bioacoustics
Week 9 (9th Nov.): Underwater bioacoustics (Wednesday bank holiday)
Week 10 (16th Nov.): Comparative bioacoustics IV: Insects, amphibians & bats.
Week 11 (23rd Nov.): From Primates to Human Vocal Communication.
Week 12 (30th Nov.): Human Vocal, Empirical project finalisation
Week 13 (7th Dec.): Empirical project finalisation & technological fair
Week 14 (14th Dec.): Empirical project oral presentations + closing talk (Monday + Tuesday only).
Between January and August: 6-months Internship (24 ECTS)
